As a concerned citizen of the United States of America, I am writing to urge you to use any power you may have to save American Democracy and remove the 47th President of the United States of America.  

Donald J. Trump has been convicted of the following:

• New York Hush Money Case (May 2024): Convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment scheme. The sentence included no prison time. 

• Manhattan District Attorney's Office

Key Civil Settlements and Judgments

• New York Civil Fraud Case (2024/2025): Found liable for inflating his net worth to defraud banks and insurers; ordered to pay roughly $355 million plus interest in penalties.

• E. Jean Carroll Sexual Abuse and Defamation Cases (2023/2024):Found liable in two separate civil trials for sexual abuse and defamation, with combined penalties exceeding $88 million.

• Trump Foundation Settlement (2019): Settled a suit regarding the misuse of charity funds, paying $2 million.

• Trump University Settlement (2018):Settled fraud lawsuits for $25 million.

Donald Trump has escaped accountability for the crimes listed above. He has since again risen to power and violated our constitution in the following ways:

• First Amendment Violations: Judge Young stated in January 2026 that the administration is not honoring the First Amendment, specifically regarding free speech and protests The Washington Post.

• Detention of Protesters: Actions taken against demonstrators were described as unconstitutional, with concerns over how the administration handled dissent The Washington Post.

• Undermining Congress: Reports suggest actions to circumvent Congress, such as bypassing established norms, which face ongoing legal scrutiny The Guardian.

• Retaliation Concerns: Concerns have been raised regarding the targeting of individuals for their views or actions in exercising constitutional rights, particularly by law enforcement agencies Constitutional Accountability Center. 

The lists above are not inclusive of the atrocities regular Americans are witnessing and experiencing under the Trump regime. Any lawmaker who continues to support lawlessness, cannot be included in the options for American leadership in the future. I urge you to evaluate your goals for the trajectory of America and stand with the concerned citizens of our nation to exert maximum pressure on the U.S. Congress and Judicial branches to hold Donald Trump accountable for his egregious crimes and violations to our Constitution.
